In 2021 I wanted to introduce the classic hard knot headbands to Phoenix & Hawke, but I refused to do it unless I found a base that would be comfortable all day, and wouldn't result in a headache. After testing numerous samples for weeks on end, I finally found the perfect base. Shortly after, I followed my husband's advice to coin a special phrase that embodied the headache-free comfort of my headbands, and the above phrase was born. Since then, I have sewn and sold thousands of these to endless happy customers, who can enjoy modern, cute headbands, without the common pain they usually cause.
